Snoring / Sleep Apnea Treatment

Obstructive Sleep Apnea & Snoring

Obstructive sleep apnea, or severe sleep related breathing impairment is becoming increasingly recognized as a serious health problem that is very common in adults and adolescents.

Obstructive sleep apnea means diminished or absent breathing at night due to blockage of the air passage. This can be partial (snoring) when the airflow thru the areas of narrowing causes tissues to vibrate, which we hear as snoring. If the obstruction is more complete, there is no airflow (apnea).

The low oxygen, suffocation and adrenaline release causes many acute and chronic health problems.
